"Nothing Says Comfort Like a QUILT" is the mantra of quilters. When a member of the Canadian Forces is lost while serving in the CF, we want to offer a quilt to each member of their immediate family.
The CCRP has been established to help quilters (and potential quilters) to reach out in a tangible way and to literally wrap Canadian military family members in an embrace of comfort and love from fellow Canadians who care and want to reach out.

The goal of the CCRP is to bring comfort to some very special members of the Canadian family at a time when they are experiencing deep hurt and profound loss.
A CCRP quilt is unique in that it is made with the copyrighted “Maple Heart” block, designed exclusively for the CCRP by Jennifer Hodge. Every person who now receives a CCRP quilt has the added comfort of knowing that they alone, along with others who share in a similar loss possess a quilt made from the Maple Heart block.
It is ordinarily made as a “comfort” quilt, rather than a bed quilt, useful as a lap quilt, for warmth while seated.
